Job Title: Operations Support Officer
Location: Bangladesh

As an Operations Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing  daily operational activities, and ensuring smooth and efficient processes. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders, both locally and internationally, to drive successful outcomes and maintain high operational standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Follow up with international and local facilities, ensuring alignment and effective communication across all operations.
  • Organize and conduct meetings, as well as on-site visits to factories, waste handlers and recyclers as required.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, positive relationships with all stakeholders such as factories, traders, service providers, brands, recyclers, and government entities.
  • Manage and coordinate the alignment of supply and demand among stakeholders.
  • Maintain daily & weekly extraordinary follow-ups to achieve targets for each entity.
  • Regularly update follow-up charts, databases, and any relevant software platforms.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring all documents are processed and shipments are tracked until final delivery.
  • Oversee the preparation of invoices and confirmations, ensuring payments are tracked and realized promptly.
  • Regular follow up with the manufacturer and waste handler to get good quality data on the platform.
  • Provide assistance with supplier payments, compliance with tax-related legal requirements, documentation support, and coordination with lawyers for collections or other legal matters.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimally, 3 years of experience in merchandising, operational support, administrative roles, marketing, or similar fields.
  • Highly proficient in Google Workspace and MS Office.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other foreign languages is a plus.
  • Possesses a can-do attitude, excels in taking on new challenges, and thrives in diverse areas while maintaining focus and initiative.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility, ethics, and dependability.
  • Experience working with international teams or handling international clients is preferred.
