About Reverse Resources

Reverse Resources (RR) is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform transforming the fashion/textile industry’s approach to textile waste. We’re paving the way for a fully circular fashion industry by making textile waste a valuable resource. Our role is to assist brands in connecting their textile waste with recycling partners and to assist recyclers in accessing high-quality waste in a transparent and cost-effective manner.

Founded in 2014, RR has been at the forefront of driving the circular agenda in the textiles and fashion industry. Our programs/projects team works alongside key organisations in this sector. We serve as the data and traceability partner through our SaaS platform, and as a key knowledge partner, sharing our hands-on experiences and insights. Our programs department works across the entire circular value chain, covering both pre- and post-consumer textile waste streams. Our focus areas include compliance (e.g. improving working conditions in the waste handling sector), conducting waste mapping reports for global brands and recycling technologies, and assessing the potential of the emerging chemical recycling sector.

About you

We seek an innovative, punctual and experienced problem solver to join the growing team of Reverse Resources to assist us. You have to function in a highly dynamic environment and knowledge of digital product platforms, sustainability/circularity in the fashion & textile industry, and dealing with a diverse client base, NGOs and government organisations would be of benefit. We are a true scaleup startup, so you will have a chance to grow with us.

Responsibilities

Operations

• Analysis of shipment trends from factories to waste handlers/ recyclers
• Train factories on profile creation and making deliveries
• Work with recyclers on registering products with the built up inventory
• Work closely with waste handlers and ensure the deliveries being made are valid and verifiable.
• Maintain/update database, analyse data and reporting.
• Co-ordinate visits (transportation/accommodation)

Account management

• Identify top management of factories through research and cold calling
• Update CRM with the recent updates
• Liaise with factories/waste handlers/recyclers on matchmaking
• Monitoring invoicing and receipt of payments of factories, recyclers and waste handlers
• Work on creating PPT presentations

Marketing support

• Responsible for maintaining marketing collaterals like flyers, standees, exhibition panels
• Attending exhibitions and conferences

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Indian textile and/or apparel industry.
• Graduate/diploma in Business administration / apparel / fashion technology / textiles
• 4-5 years experience in sales/merchandising/operations
• Being conversant in English and Hindi
